Join Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers on Friday, August 11th while we explore Wildcat Mountain Vineyard with owners Nancy & Tony Lilly and Vineyard Manager Ned Hill.

The day will begin with coffee, pastries, and and introduction to the site. The group will then explore a few of the 18 total vineyard blocks, before sitting down to taste some of the vineyard designate wines produced from the unique site.

Water Resources Specialist Keith Abeles of the Sonoma Resource Conservation District will be on site to discuss the process of Vineyard Irrigation Evaluations offered to grapegrowers throughout the valley. Wildcat Mountain Vineyard has recently undergone this evaluation, and Vineyard Manager Ned Hill and irrigation master, Tony Lilly, will talk about implementation of Keith’s recommendations as well as other water issues that they’ve had to deal with over the years.

Following the tour of  the property, the morning will conclude with lunch and tasting of various vineyard designate wines produced from the site.
