• What we’ll do
Called “one of the region’s most talented winemakers” by the Santa Maria Sun and “a shining example” of “boundary-pushing wine” by Wine Enthusiast’s Matt Kettmann, Ernst Storm of Storm Wines has been receiving bountiful accolades. His exquisite wines can be found in top restaurants and wine bars but he doesn’t have a tasting room. This is your chance to try his wines!
Join us Thursday, June 7th, 5:30 pm creekside at the lovely SB Museum of Natural History. Light appetizers will be provided by Chef Pete Clements. This event will sell out!
Price is $28/per person. If you have trouble with Meetup, just send the payment directly via Paypal to “[masked]” and be sure to email me and let me know!

Buy The Lark cookbook with an essay I wrote on Storm wines: http://www.thelarksb.com/store/around-the-table-recipes-stories-from-the-lark-santa-barbara/
Prominent wine critic Antonio Galloni calls Storm “one of the most promising young winemakers in California” and Matt Kettman of Wine Enthusiast called Storm’s 2013 Presqu’ile Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc “one of the most memorable white wines I’ve ever tasted.”
Storm isn’t looking for acclaim, he says he is simply making wine that he likes to drink. “I have a lot of friends that make this style of wine and it’s the style of wine we like to drink. I’m looking to make unpretentious, site-specific wines with authenticity.”
cheers! Tama
