With a history that spans back to 1869, the winery atop Spring Mountain has been one of hard work and dedication for nearly 150 years. Now home to Pride Mountain Winery, the 235-acre vineyard straddles the Napa/Sonoma county line on the crest of the Mayacamas Mountain Range at an elevation of 2,100 feet.
With a history of using new ideas to coax the finest wines out of their mountaintop fruit, this is your opportunity to taste six of their wine masterpieces. Starting with a reception on The Meritage Resort’s Vineyard Deck your senses will be in awe of the tastes, sights, and sounds as you delight in wine and small bites while listening to the soft sounds of live music.
Next we will retreat into the Estate Cave for five course dinner including dessert. Our executive chef and Pride Mountain Vineyards’ team worked together to choose some of their favorite wines then worked to pair each with just the right dish. Throughout the evening you’ll hear from the Pride Mountain Vineyards team to learn about the winemaking process and thought that went into the production of each wine, while also hearing from our culinary team to learn why they chose the ingredients and flavors to pair with each course.
Come as a couple, enjoy with friends, and meet other guests as you indulge on fabulous wines, delicious food, and great company on Friday, August 5.
