(Napa CA) Lucky Penny Productions continues its 2016-2017 season with two Christmas-themed shows on stage Dec 2-18.
“The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical” returns, following its Bay Area premiere at Lucky Penny last December. Back again are the trailer park trio of Betty, Lin and Pickles, joined by Christmas-loving neighbor Rufus, the Scrooge-like Darlene, and “breastaurant” owner Jackie Boudreau. The rollicking tale of Christmas at Armadillo Acres features a live four-piece band and is offered in evening performances Dec 2-17. This show is for adult audiences only.
“Twas the Night Before Christmas” is a kids and family-friendly comedy featuring a pair of identical twin mice, hip hop songs, a sword fight or two, and Santa himself. Written by Ken Ludwig, this fun-filled show will be live on stage for matinees only Dec 3-18.
Both shows will be presented at the Lucky Penny Community Arts Center, 1758 Industrial Way in Napa. Details and online ticketing are available at www.luckypennynapa.com or by phone at 707-266-6305. Both shows are selling fast and many performances are expected to sell out so early advance purchase is recommended. A discount of 10% is offered to groups of 10 or more.
