Calling all pinot noir lovers! Meadowcroft wines is releasing a special tasting flight of their limited production pinot noirs the weekend of January 21 and 22. These wines will sell out, so come in to the Tasting Room and get your hands on a few bottles of these special wines.
Known for their rich, expressive pinot noirs, Meadowcroft is pleased to be releasing four limited production pinot noirs from diverse appellations, Carneros, Russian River, and Sonoma Coast, on Saturday, January 21 and Sunday, January 22. Each of these wines speaks directly to the unique place of origin as well as Winegrower Tom Meadowcroft’s signature touch on these wines. The 2015 Cornerstone Pinot Noir is grown at the Cornerstone property which is also home to the Tasting Room. The supple and lush 2015 Russian River Pinot Noir shows classic appellation flavor profile with concentrated cherry cola, black cherry, and grilled plum flavors, yet the bright acidity lingers on the palate. Balanced and approachable, the 2015 Carneros Pinot Noir features tangy acidity with layers of Bing cherry and currant. From the cool, coastal Sonoma Coast appellation, the 2015 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is silky and seductive, hints of hibiscus tea and Bing cherry.
Try each of these wines in a special tasting Pinot Noir Tasting Flight ($20) in their Sonoma Tasting Room. Meadowcroft will be offering this special flight in the Tasting Room until they sell out of these limited production pinot noirs.
