The firestorm of October 2017 will not be soon forgotten.

Napa County officials and Napa CART (Community Animal Response Team), along with animal rescue organizations in Napa Valley, have been evaluating the disaster response. Much of this evaluation has focused on improving animal outcomes in future disasters through better preparedness of individual animal owners.

Join JARR; Kevin Twohey, OES coordinator, Napa County Office of Emergency Services;
Ken Arnold, chief of police, Napa Valley College; and Dr. Claudia Sonder, president and
founder, Napa CART; as we highlight aspects of individual disaster planning and
preparedness that can help provide a better outcome for you and your animals!

This free and open to the public event will be held at the Theater at The CIA at Copia,  and doors open at 6 pm. Grab a quick bite at The Restaurant for their Happy Hour from 4 – 6 pm, and then head across the campus to the theater for this informative lecture!
