Time to shred some enamel!
Before taking a two-month hiatus for the holidays, we tasted through a gaggle of delicious gamays. For January, we will go in the other direction to explore Petite Sirah.
If you have not participated before, here is the rundown:
– Everyone brings a bottle of themed wine or a food dish to share
– We taste through the wines and food, and submit our top favorites
– Winners of the most favored wines and food dish will receive prizes of the tastiest sort
This is a great opportunity for those of us in the wine and hospitality industry to forge new connections in addition to seeing familiar friends. We can eat, drink, and be merry together! If you would like to participate in this month for this month’s celebration of Petite Sirah, please RSVP me with your contact number, guest count, and whether you are bringing a food item or a bottle of wine. We will provide the bags for the blind tasting. We’ll get started at 6:15pm sharp, but feel free to come by around 5:45pm if you’d like to try some of our Humanitas Wines. We will be extending our industry discount of 30%, and for purchases of 6 or more bottles we are happy to provide a 50% discount for this night only.
Humanitas Wines is part of The Good Life Wine Collective along with Jessup Cellars and Handwritten Wines. Our tasting annex is located in the Crusher Wine District in southern Napa, where all of our wines are made (located at 25 Enterprise Court, in Napa).
Feel free to forward this email to any of your colleagues who might be interested in participating – the more the merrier! You know where to find me if you have any questions.
