The wines of Valentin Bianchi have signified elegance and style for discerning Argentines since 1928. Their wines are staples at the finest restaurants and most chic bars and clubs in Buenos Aires and found in the country’s best wine shops. In Argentina, Valentin Bianchi is a classic that is enjoyed at all times, but especially when unwinding over dinner or at a gathering with family and friends.

The three Valentin Bianchi vineyards - Asti, Las Paredes and Dona Elsa - comprise over 716 acres and are located in San Rafael, which is thought to have the best soil in the Mendoza region. The vineyards are filled with rootstock from Valentin's native Italy, as well as vines from California and France. The high quality of the grapes is matched by the use of cutting-edge technology to develop wines that have received praise and awards both in Argentina and abroad. Francisco Martinez is the wine maker of all Valentin Bianchi labels, and has been with the winery since 1979.

The 2010 Sauvignon Blanc combines young, delicate and sharp herbal aromas with distinct and fresh citric traces of watermelon and lime peel. There is a refreshing crispness and clean, lingering finish. This wine should be served slightly chilled, and is the perfect choice for oysters, shrimp and fish, or on its own as an aperitif.

The must is separated by draining, the sediments are removed and the wine ferments in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures.
