Winemaker Notes
The grapes for this single-vineyard wine come from Molina, located near the Andes Mountain in Curico Valley, situated around 200 kilometers south of Santiago. The grapes are hand- picked at the end of March, crushed and then undergo 4 hours of cold maceration, followed by pressing. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures (13-14°C) in stainless steel tanks for 25 days, where it is always protected from air contact. The resulting wine stays 4 months in tanks with inner staves of French oak.
Food Pairing Notes
Terrapura Chardonnay is perfect accompaniment to salads, soft cheeses, lightly-sauced pasta dishes and fish.
