Dense berry fruit backed up by spicy oak is what greets the nose in this impressive older Spanish release. A blend of 70% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuelo, 15% Garnacha provides woody roasted and dried fruit. Very good structure, full and balanced with a pleasant finish and harmony between the flavors.
