The Oracle is a Bordeaux-style blend inspired by the ancient Greek Oracle, the center of prophecy and wisdom. The fruit for this wine is sourced from Napa Valley’s renowned Stagecoach Vineyard, and the blend changes each year based on what we believe makes the best wine from what nature has given us.

This harmonious blend reveals aromas of blackberries, coffee and dried herbs that lead into layers of plush dark fruit flavors on the palate. With well-integrated oak and framed by finely grained tannins.

Drink now through 2013. 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Franc and 1% Malbec. 4,660 cases produced.

Winemaker Notes Miner Family Vineyards is a dynamic, family-owned winery tucked along the eastern hills of the Oakville appellation in the heart of Napa Valley. Founded in 1998 by Dave and Emily Miner along with his parents, Ed and Norma, Miner makes reserve style wines using fruit from Napa Valley and other specially selected California vineyards. Winemaker Gary Brookman uses a combination of old world winemaking techniques and modern technology to make wines that reflect the unique characteristics of individual vineyards or “terroir” where specific varietals grow best. The fusion of superb vineyard sites and thoughtful winemaking helps Miner create elegant, expressive wines.
