Huru 2010 Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand

New Zealand is home to what many wine critics consider the world’s best Sauvignon Blanc.  At Winetasting.com, our staff recently experienced that first hand when we tasted the Huru 2010 Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region.

This wine packs a lot of punch for it's small price tag! It is full of rich, fresh tropical flavors such as mango and pineapple followed by a tantalizing touch of pear. This wine has a rich mouthfeel yet finishes with the bright acidity Sauvignon Blanc is known for. The finish will amaze you - blistfully carrying you on like the Doors hit, "Riders of the Storm."

Yum! Rich tropical flavors of pineapple and mango with a touch of fresh Bosc pear. Very long finish and surprisingly complex. This one would be great with turkey.

Wow, this wine has a lot going on. Strong tropical fruit that dances in your mouth to a refreshing complex finish. Tasted, compared and contrasted to a Napa Valley Sauv Blanc that was double the price and this won hands down in bringing a delightful smile. I'm buying a few cases for the holidays.-Chris

Refreshingly tropical pineapple with hints of dried peaches. Spicy honey and oak-less. Stays bright, crisp and smooth to the very end. Easy to open bottle (no bottle opener needed). Everything a S.B. should be. Great wine!

I LOVE THIS WINE, IT'S NOT TO FRUITY IT'S VERY CRISP AND SMOOTH. I'M NOT A FREQUENT WINE DRINKER AT LEAST I THOUGHT, I NEARLY DRUNK THE WHOLE BOTTLE MY SELF. I LOVE IT!!!!!
