Hilary Goldschmidt 2007 Sangiovese

The Atlas Peak Sangiovese vineyard was planted in 1989 and remains one of the first significant plantings in California. It is comprised of three clones, each with a distinctive character to add to the overall complexity of the final blend.

This single vineyard wine is 100% Sangiovese and has given us one of the fullest and most powerful wines from Napa. Distinctly fruity and densely structured, HILARY GOLDSCHMIDT Sangiovese shows a natural balance and supple tannin finish. This estate wine shows not only the natural elegance of this varietal with long, soft, silky tannins, but also drive and finesse that can only come from more unique sites
