The focus at Etude begins with the grapes in the vineyard. Small vineyard lots are densely planted and the winery team adheres to sustainable winemaking practices. Fortitude is a new project from Etude, which focuses on fruit from independent family grape growers.
“A vibrant wine with crushed fruit aromas of sweet blackberry and blueberry and notes of black tea and baking spices that lead to juicy flavors of ripe plum and berry jam,” Jon Priest, winemaker.

Color: deep cherry, clear brilliant Nose: fruit, kitchen spice on the tail end Taste: bright fruit on the front end, complex middle with slight anise, kitchen spice on endComments: great acid, perfect for cleansing the palate with a nice finish A great food wine, recommend with coq a vin, duck, pork, or a lovely filet mignon. Would definitely but this wine again. I served this with my Thanksgiving dinner ( I made turkey, duck, and Cornish game hen with wild rice stuffing and garnet yams)
