Produced from a typical Rhône blend, with Syrah dominating at 60%, followed by 30% old vines of Grenache, 5% old vines of Carignan and 5% Cinsault. The wine was then fermented and aged 21st-century style: in stainless-steel tanks.
Region Notes
An ancient and very traditional appellation, Côteaux du Languedoc is one of the loveliest wine regions in France. It is here that the Camargue is situated, where the Rhône flows into the Mediterranean. Known for its black bulls, white horses, and pink flamingos, the Camargue is also associated with the Roma (Gypsy) people, who made pilgrimages here during the Middle Ages to honor three Biblical Marys (Mary Jacobé, Mary Salomé and Mary Madgalene) who, according to legend, arrived here in a boat without oars or sails.
