With this special Springtime collection, you will receive TWO of each of the following:
Lismore Range 2011 Reserve Chardonnay A new style of Australian Chardonnay, picked earlier than in the past, then fermented in stainless steel to retain all the fresh fruit flavors and naturally brisk acidity then aged in American and French oak to add a hint of oak character. The wine displays vibrant flavors of peach, apricot with a hint of melon and spice, this wine is drinking beautifully now. A richness of fruit flavors finishes brisk and crisp.
Isola Trinita 2012 Inzolia Inzolia is a varietal confined mainly to Sicily although it is also found in Tuscany under the synonym Ansonica. Together with Grillo and Catarratto, it is part of the blend that goes into both sweet and dry versions of Marsala. Inzolia is also used to make wine that can be perfumed and well-built with lots of structure and viscosity, with notes of almonds, citrus fruits and fresh herbs. A well-made Inzolia can have a beautiful deep golden/green color. Insola Trinita is a clear and bright wine, with fresh fruits aromas and hints of citrus and melon. Full and round in texture. Ideal with white meat.
Nebel 2012 Riesling Stimulating on the palate and well balanced with crisp mineral accents. It is slightly off-dry, beautifully balanced, and flavorful with an elegant and refined finish.Nebel goes well with green salads, ceviche, sushi or spicy Asian cuisine and is very enjoyable on its own as an easy drinking white wine or aperitif. It is ready to drink now or over the next 3 years. Serve well chilled.
Dufrane-Lombard 2009 Reserve Chardonnay A hint of Malolactic Fermentation flutters behing the rich aromas of apricot and peach, but on the palate, a bracing acidity keeps the flavors fresh. Oak has some influence here, but no more than in some of the more elegant Burgundies while new world peach, pear, and apricot with a hint of citrus and melon leave a lasting palate impression.
San Valencia 2010 Chardonnay Natural acidity and pure fruit flavors, complexity and character for balance. Aromas of pineapple, guava and pear with hints of vanilla and orange blossoms. The palate is full bodied and rich with the perfect balance between fruit, oak and acidity. This wine is a joy to drink when young but will also age and develop beautifully for many years to come.
Hamilton Estates 2010 Chardonnay When we set out to create an extraordinary Chardonnay, we wanted it to stand out from all the others. This Napa Valley house gem pairs well with appetizers, strong cheeses, pork, poultry or seafood. It is rich and complex yet retains a fresh, crisp mouth feel. You will not be disappointed!
