Beautiful big aromatics jump out of the glass backed by luscious black fruit. Also a big mouth full of juicy goodness with a hint of black pepper and with some power and excellent balance. It will age up to 15 years.

Luscious, richly textured and elegant. Aromatics of berry, plum and cassis lead into wine that is packed with black fruit, cedar, spice and cocoa.

Starmont’s 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet is dark red with good density with sweet aromas of red and black currants, brambly blackberry jam, black olive, dried herbs and violets.  This wine has a soft entry, round with medium weight, toasty oak notes, and very good length.

Soft and rich, with layers of red cherry, raspberry, cola, caramel, and a hint of Asian spice, this impressively silky, deeply colored and full-bodied wine is aged in 100% French oak, which adds an elegant toasty vanilla character. 

Aromas of blueberries, black olives and aged beef with underlying oak and toast notes. Explosive black cherry, licorice and light toasty smoke in the mouth.

Schramsberg Blanc de Noirs is particularly well-suited to serve with a variety of foods, including soft and nutty cheeses, macadamia nut-crusted halibut, and pork tenderloin with fresh rosemary and lemon thyme.

While this wine can be enjoyed by itself as an apéritif, it is also perfect with fresh oysters and other shellfish, crab cakes, ceviche and grilled sea bass.
