The 2009 Jayson Chardonnay is pale yellow-green in color. Composed of both Napa Valley and Sonoma Coast fruit, it reveals kiwi, melon, tangelo and lemon-lime curd with an underlying flintiness and minerality. 

Dark cherry aromas and sweet oak express themselves first, leading to hints of baking spice, chocolate, and rosemary.  This is a complex wine that makes a great first impression, with a sweet entry, big lush textures and a nice frame.

Mineral notes, focus, and bright acidity. Clone 4 and Old Wente from the Keller Estate vineyards provide tropical and stone fruit components and balance out the textures to create a fabulous blend of old-world style and new-world eloquence.

Two vineyards give characteristics to the final blend that synergistically meld into a complexity, depth, and richness that is unusual for Syrah.

Expresses its cool climate upbringing with a perfect balance of cherry and strawberry fruit flavors, while French oak aging lends sweet vanilla and cinnamon layers.
