True to the new-style of Australian Chardonnay, the grapes were picked early in the harvest and cold fermented in stainless steel tanks. Part of the batch was then barrel matured for about 4 months in 1 year old oak (French & America) and blended back to give just a hint of oak characters. Partial malolactic fermentation supports a hint of butteriness, though remains fresh, crisp and vibrant.

The wine displays exotic fruit and spice along with classic lemon peel and herbal notes. The palate is well-balanced, crisp and refreshing with a pure acid line and there is a mineral character to the finish.

Fresh and forward aromas of spring bouquet flowers, freesia, lime and nectarine. The entry bursts with ripe peaches/nectarines, layered with lime and minerals. Crisp and rich with a long finish.

This delicious 100% Pinot Grigio wine has a straw yellow color, a characteristic nutty and a dry, clean flavor with a refreshing acidity.
