Fragrant with red berry fruit, red cherry, vanilla and a hint of eucalyptus. Flavors of bright, red berry fruit and a slight earthiness follow.

Lovely, just-ripe red fruit, dark cherry, and cassis dominate the nose, with layers of plum and raspberry rounding out the fruit notes. These are complemented by a rich, nutty character mingling with aromas of leather and hints of oak.  In the mouth, luscious, bright red fruit and supple tannins coat the palate and linger for a long and pleasing finish.

It has a very long, savory finish with the slight grip of fine-grained tannins. Given proper cellaring, this wine should give drinking pleasure through 2030.
