Marselan is a crossing of Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache that appeared on the French Wine scene decades ahead of its time.  Officially approved as a French variety in 1990, some 30 years after its birth, Marselan varietal wine has only been available in the US since 2007.

This wine has brilliant clarity and vibrancy. A zingy acidity give the aromatic fruit nice focus. The wine is vinified in stainless steel and aged for thre months before bottling.

Petit Verdot, long known as a Bordeaux blending varietal, is making a name for itself as a stand-alone wine in Australia. This release from the prestigious Limestone Coast shines a deep purple color boasting concentrated fruit flavors and firm tannins. Strong tones of violet and leather will develop as it matures.

The aromas are very delicate, with blackberry and plum. On the whole, the aromas are pleasant and satisfying. The intensity of this Barbera is very interesting together with its persistent yet pleasant aftertaste.
