Red Wine Blends

The 2008 L’Esprit des Pavots is spectacularly rich and intense. Younger vines exhibit bright fruit like strawberry, black cherry, and plum in addition to red pepper, adding to its complex bouquet. The palate is full-bodied, rich and concentrated, exhibiting abundant, youthful yet supple tannins and a lingering finish. Fruit forward and enjoyable at release, this wine should age well for a decade.

Flavors and aromas of black cherry, cedar, lavender and vanilla. Round and full-bodied, with soft, fine-grained tannins.

Great balance and mouth feel, with dark color and rich fruit. Elegant, with layers of currant, mocha and blackberry.

Exudes fresh, expressive aromas and flavors of red fruits, blueberries and spices ending on a licorice note. Good structure, but not too heavy.

Lateral is inspired by the famous wines of the St. Emilion district of Bordeaux. The blending of Merlot (54%) and Cabernet Franc (17%) is the cornerstone of this model.
