Elegant, fragrant and refined, the 2010 Ma Danseuse has in the palate a wonderful concentration of red fruits and spring blossom with subtle notes of rare spices embracing a silky texture and lingering aromatic finish.
Deep red ruby color and bright crimson tinge is the clear identifier for Le Caprice. The 2010 vintage is refined and expressive with intense concentration in the mouth. The finish lingers both aromatically and subtly on the palate.
A colossal nose of blackberry cobbler, rosehip, chocolate-covered cherry, nutmeg, and camphor. The mouth is huge, complex, chewy, perfectly integrated tannins, very long finish; amazing depth & concentration.
Smooth entry on the palate, flavors of ripe red fruits mingle with the earthy tones of tobacco and cedar as they combine with sweet tannins for a lengthy finish.
According to Wine Spectator, this red blend exhibits "Excellent balance and depth of flavor…with mocha-laced oak wrapped around ripe currant and blackberry fruit. Best from 2004 through 2012."
This acclaimed vintage exhibits a concentrated balance of dark fruit flavors and opulent oak notes with beautiful transitions throughout. Supple rich texture.
It has a very long, savory finish with the slight grip of fine-grained tannins. Given proper cellaring, this wine should give drinking pleasure through 2030.
