Marselan is a crossing of Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache that appeared on the French Wine scene decades ahead of its time. Officially approved as a French variety in 1990, some 30 years after its birth, Marselan varietal wine has only been available in the US since 2007.
Red, silky & sophisticated, velvet smooth & chocolatey. Black fruit/forest fruit, chocolate, meaty/roasty, oaky/vanilla, peppery/spicy.
