Clos Pegase winery Clos Pegase was founded in 1985 by Jan Schrem, who became fascinated by winemaking after a successful publishing career in Japan. With the help of the Dean of American winemakers, André Tchelistcheff, Schrem created a unique wine estate which combines his love of art, architecture and wine.
