The 2008 L’Esprit des Pavots is spectacularly rich and intense. Younger vines exhibit bright fruit like strawberry, black cherry, and plum in addition to red pepper, adding to its complex bouquet. The palate is full-bodied, rich and concentrated, exhibiting abundant, youthful yet supple tannins and a lingering finish. Fruit forward and enjoyable at release, this wine should age well for a decade.

The 2007 Robin K. Sonoma County Chardonnay features all the elements of fine Burgundy-style winemaking. 

Aromas of raspberry, plum and spice fill the glass, while the flavors also offer the meatiness of the varietal.

Vibrant aromas of blackberry, black cherry, cigar box, caramel and creamy vanilla bean lead into the intense flavors, supple tannins, and lengthy finish.

The nose exhibits a bouquet of roses, raspberry, Griotte cherry, forest floor, red currant, and a subtle note of violet. Delicate, fragrant and refined, 2009 Ma Danseuse has in the palate a wonderful concentration of red fruits and spring blossom such as potpourri with subtle notes of rare spices embracing a silky texture and lingering aromatic finish.
 

True to its name, the wine is indeed a pleasure: intense and perfumed. Mon Plaisir displays an exquisite bouquet of lemon cream, honey, and candied grapefruit, with subtle notes of spring flowers.

A core of lean citrus and vivid minerality, layered with baked apple and nectarine. The name translates to “My Daughter In-Law” in honor of Emily Michael, Paul Michael’s wife.
