Aged Cabernet

Layers of dark fruit, chocolate and spicy oak. The flavors are rich and dense and are balanced with firm integrated tannins.

Intense, deep crimson color with a powerful nose. Classic structure of fine-grained tannins and firm acidity persist through to the clean, crisp, spicy finish.

According to Wine Spectator, this red blend exhibits "Excellent balance and depth of flavor…with mocha-laced oak wrapped around ripe currant and blackberry fruit. Best from 2004 through 2012."

Rich and opulent, offering concentrated fruit flavors and layers of complexity. Finely integrated tannins allow for a luxurious mouthfeel and surprising drinkability.

2006 Napa Valley, a blend of wine from vineyards throughout the appellation, is 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot.  

Nose dominated by cedar, blackberry and mint. The palate follows this thread by offering cloves, mint, red raspberry and cherry compote.

Intense ripe flavors of blackberry, cassis and black cherry. Supple and refined in the palate, excellent balance and a long, moderately tannic finish.

Strong aromatics and intense flavors of black cherry, cola and cocoa. Bold and youthful, with well integrated, approachable tannins.

If Screamin’ Jay Hawkins was still with us he surely would adapt this wine to his style and sing, “It’ll put a spell on you.” And it will, what with its lovely berry aromas and soft, warm, smooth, and beautiful fruit.
