According to Wine Spectator, this red blend exhibits "Excellent balance and depth of flavor…with mocha-laced oak wrapped around ripe currant and blackberry fruit. Best from 2004 through 2012."

Black currants, cassis, leather and spice aromas. Full bodied flavors of rich black fruit with minty and herbal overtones. Mild tannins with a long and complex finish.

The color is a deep garnet that offers aromas of baked blackberry, black raspberry and hints of olive tapenade, followed by toasted oak spices of toffee, maple-candy and coffee beans.

2006 Napa Valley, a blend of wine from vineyards throughout the appellation, is 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot.
