Welcome to Winetasting.com, a company rich in its Napa Valley heritage that has taken the best of the Ambrosia, the Berglund Catalog of Fine Wines®, partnered it with Geerlings and Wade®, America's Leading Direct-to-Consumer Winery®, and created a compelling selection of what we believe to be the best wines in the world, in quality, value and a sense of place.

We are located in one of the most remarkable neighborhoods in the world, the Napa Valley, which has been our home since 1991. Some would say our neighborhood is magical in its beauty and abundance ... rich in tradition and people with passion creating experiences to be remembered.

Our neighbors create some of the best wines in the world. Another advantage to living in the Napa Valley (the epicenter of premium American wine production and culinary delights) is; we are introduced to some of the best wines in the world, both locally and those produced in France, Italy, South Africa, Australia, and the world over. Winemakers and culinary experts from around the world visit the Napa Valley and offer to compare and contrast the best of Napa Valley with the best of the worlds’ wines and culinary offerings.

Our heritage within our Napa Valley community is deep. We began offering the finest library of aged, ultra-premium California Cabernet Sauvignons in the world as; Ambrosia, the Berglund Catalog of Fine Wines® beginning in 1991. As awareness of the quality of ultra-premium American Wines grew, we did as well. We introduced the world of wines to consumers around the country via our Ambrosia Wine Catalog® and ultimately over the internet via Ambrosiawine.com and winetasting.com websites. We were a pioneer in partnering with Napa Valley Wineries and introduced wineries and the world to the concept of wine clubs. Our business has evolved and grown over the years but our sense of place, that special place, being the Napa Valley never strays from our hearts or minds in everything we do.

In 2004, we became a wholly owned subsidiary of 1-800-FLOWERS.COM® INC (NASDAQ:FLWS), the country's leading thoughtful gift provider. This unique relationship has allowed us to continue to grow and to invest in building a deeper relationship for our consumers by expanding our commitment to find and offer the greatest of wines not only from the Napa Valley but from around the world. With that thought in mind in February of 2009 we purchased certain assets of a great wine marketer Geerlings and Wade®.

Geerlings and Wade®, founded in 1986, has built a strong reputation for quality and value, and transitioned to become America's leading direct-to-consumer winery, producing wines both in our Napa, California winery and with international partnerships that have developed all over the world. Today, our combined brands are America’s leading direct marketer of fine wine and wine accessories with home and office delivery to over 30 states and a devoted following of over 100,000 members. Our never-ending quest for exquisite yet value priced wines leads us to vineyards around the world and thousands-upon-thousands of blind tasting and blending sessions to ensure our consumers get the best in value and quality.
